e-Granthalaya: A Digital Agenda for Automation and Networking of Government Libraries - is a Digital Platform developed and maintained by National Informatics Centre, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India. Under the platform, NIC Provides Library Management Software with Digital Library Module and Cloud Hosting facility to Government Libraries on request basis. The Software is a Cloud Ready Application; and uses PostgreSQL - an Open Source DBMS as back-end solution. The Software is multi-lingual, UNICODE compliant, provides an online data entry solution and compliance with library standards. ई-ग्रन्थालय: सरकारी पुस्तकालयों के स्वचालन और नेटवर्किंग के लिए एक डिजिटल एजेंडा - राष्ट्रीय सूचना विज्ञान केंद्र, इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स और सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी मंत्रालय, भारत सरकार द्वारा विकसित और बनाए रखा गया एक डिजिटल प्लेटफ़ॉर्म है। प्लेटफॉर्म के तहत, एनआईसी अनुरोध के आधार पर सरकारी लाइब्रेरी को डिजिटल लाइब्रेरी मॉड्यूल और क्लाउड होस्टिंग सुविधा के साथ लाइब्रेरी प्रबंधन सॉफ्टवेयर प्रदान करता है। सॉफ्टवेयर एक क्लाउड रेडी एप्लीकेशन है; और एक मुक्त स्रोत DBMS - PostgreSQL का उपयोग करता है। सॉफ्टवेयर बहुभाषी है, UNICODE अनुरूप है, लाइब्रेरी मानकों के साथ ऑनलाइन डेटा प्रविष्टि समाधान और अनुपालन प्रदान करता है। Read More....

महाराष्ट्र सार्वजनिक ग्रंथालय कायदा 1 9 67 च्या अधिनियमासह, 2 मे 1 9 68 रोजी महाराष्ट्र राज्यातील ग्रंथालय संचालनालय स्थापन करण्यात आले. संचालनालय अंतर्गत 31 मार्च 2013 पर्यंत एक राज्य केंद्रीय ग्रंथालय, 6 विभागीय ग्रंथालय, 35 जिल्हा पुस्तकालय आणि एक संदर्भ ग्रंथालय व सहाय्यक कार्यालय संचालक, ग्रंथालय संचालक आणि मुख्यालय संचालक म्हणून अशा प्रकारे 50 कार्यालये स्थापन केली जातात. ई-ग्रंथलयाचे हे क्लस्टर महाराष्ट्र राज्यातील स्थापत्य शासकीय सार्वजनिक ग्रंथालयांना समर्पित आहे जेथे ई-ग्रंथलिया 4.0 एनआयसी क्लस्टरवर ऑटोमेशनसाठी वापरले जात आहे. With the Enactment of Maharashtra Public Libraries Act, 1967 the directorate of the libraries was set up in the state of Maharashtra on 2nd May 1968. Under the directorate upto 31st March 2013 One State Central Library, 6 Divisional Libraries, 35 District Libraries and One Reference Library and 6 Offices of Asstt. Director of Libraries & Head Quarter of Directorate thus 50 offices are established. This Cluster of e-Granthalaya is dedicated to the Government Public Libraries set up in Maharashtra State where e-Granthalaya 4.0 is being used on NIC Cluster for automation.
