e-Granthalaya: A Digital Agenda for Automation and Networking of Government Libraries - is a Digital Platform developed and maintained by National Informatics Centre, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India. Under the platform, NIC Provides Library Management Software with Digital Library Module and Cloud Hosting facility to Government Libraries on request basis. The Software is a Cloud Ready Application; and uses PostgreSQL - an Open Source DBMS as back-end solution. The Software is multi-lingual, UNICODE compliant, provides an online data entry solution and compliance with library standards. ई-ग्रन्थालय: सरकारी पुस्तकालयों के स्वचालन और नेटवर्किंग के लिए एक डिजिटल एजेंडा - राष्ट्रीय सूचना विज्ञान केंद्र, इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स और सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी मंत्रालय, भारत सरकार द्वारा विकसित और बनाए रखा गया एक डिजिटल प्लेटफ़ॉर्म है। प्लेटफॉर्म के तहत, एनआईसी अनुरोध के आधार पर सरकारी लाइब्रेरी को डिजिटल लाइब्रेरी मॉड्यूल और क्लाउड होस्टिंग सुविधा के साथ लाइब्रेरी प्रबंधन सॉफ्टवेयर प्रदान करता है। सॉफ्टवेयर एक क्लाउड रेडी एप्लीकेशन है; और एक मुक्त स्रोत DBMS - PostgreSQL का उपयोग करता है। सॉफ्टवेयर बहुभाषी है, UNICODE अनुरूप है, लाइब्रेरी मानकों के साथ ऑनलाइन डेटा प्रविष्टि समाधान और अनुपालन प्रदान करता है। Read More....

This Cluster of e-Granthalaya 4.0 has been created with the objective to extend e-Granthalaya Services to all the Scientific and Technical Research Centres setup under the Directorate. All these centres have been provided using e-Granthalaay 4.0 on NIC Cloud for Automation of In-hose activities and Online member services. This cluster is providing access of the Union Catalog of these centres and Libraries as well as other library services hosted in NIC National Cloud. ई-Granthalaya 4.0 का यह क्लस्टर निदेशालय के तहत सभी वैज्ञानिक और तकनीकी अनुसंधान केन्द्रों के लिए ई-Granthalaya सेवाओं का विस्तार करने के साथ बनाया गया है। इन सभी केन्द्रों में पुस्तकालय ऑटोमेशन गतिविधियों और ऑनलाइन सदस्य सेवाओं के लिए एनआईसी क्लाउड पर ई-Granthalaay 4.0 का उपयोग हो रहा है। यह क्लस्टर एनआईसी राष्ट्रीय क्लाउड की होस्टिंग और इन केन्द्रों और पुस्तकालय की संघ सूची के उपयोग के साथ ही अन्य पुस्तकालय सेवा प्रदान कर रहा है।
