About Cluster

e-Granthalaya: A Digital Agenda for Automation and Networking of Government Libraries - is a Digital Platform developed and maintained by National Informatics Centre, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India. Under the platform, NIC Provides Library Management Software with Digital Library Module and Cloud Hosting facility to Government Libraries on request basis. The Software is a Cloud Ready Application; and uses PostgreSQL - an Open Source DBMS as back-end solution. This is a Cluster for Libraries under Central Government Organizations. This cluster of libraries is created with the objectives to extend e-Granthalaya Services to all the Libraries under Central Government for Automation of In-hose activities and Online member services. This cluster will provide access of the libraries Union Catalog as well as other library services hosted in NIC National Cloud. यह केन्द्र सरकार के संगठनों के तहत पुस्तकालय के लिए क्लस्टर नंबर 1 है। पुस्तकालयों का यह क्लस्टर ऑटोमेशन गतिविधियों और ऑनलाइन सदस्य सेवाओं के स्वचालन के लिए केंद्र सरकार के अधीन सभी पुस्तकालयों के लिए ई-Granthalaya सेवाओं का विस्तार करने के उद्देश्य से बनाया गया है। यह क्लस्टर एनआईसी राष्ट्रीय क्लाउड में मेजबानी पुस्तकालयों संघ सूची के उपयोग के साथ ही अन्य पुस्तकालय सेवाएं प्रदान करेगा।
