e-Granthalaya: A Digital Agenda for Automation and Networking of Government Libraries - is a Digital Platform developed and maintained by National Informatics Centre, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India. Under the platform, NIC Provides Library Management Software with Digital Library Module and Cloud Hosting facility to Government Libraries on request basis. The Software is a Cloud Ready Application; and uses PostgreSQL - an Open Source DBMS as back-end solution. Department of Collegiate Education, Government of Karnataka has decided to implement e-Granthalaya 4.0 on NIC Cloud for Automation and networking of all the First Grade Colleges running under department. This cluster of e-Granthalaya 4.0 has been created with the objective to Automate in-house activities of College libraries as well as to provide various online member services. ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸರ್ಕಾರ, ಕಾಲೇಜು ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಇಲಾಖೆಯ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಪ್ರಥಮ ದರ್ಜೆ ಕಾಲೇಜುಗಳ ಗ್ರಂಥಾಲಯಗಳನ್ನು ಆಟೊಮೇಷನ್ ಮತ್ತು ನೆಟ್ವರ್ಕಿಂಗ್ ಜಾರಿಗೆ ತರಲು ಇ-ಗ್ರಂಥಾಲಯ 4.0 ತಂತ್ರಾಂಶವನ್ನು National Informatics Centre(NIC) ರವರಿಂದ ಚಂದಾದಾರರಾಗಿದ್ದು. ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಪ್ರಥಮ ದರ್ಜೆ ಕಾಲೇಜುಗಳ ಗ್ರಂಥಾಲಯಗಳಿಗೆ ಇ-ಗ್ರಂಥಾಲಯ 4.0 ಕ್ಲಸ್ಟರ್ನ್ನು ವಿವಿಧ ಆನ್ಲೈನ್ ಸದಸ್ಯ ಸೇವೆಗಳನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸಲು ಉದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ ರಚಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
