About Library

GRANTHALAYA, The NIELIT Agartala Centre Library was established in 2009 in the ground floor of the temporary campus of NIELIT Agartala at Indranagar. The total area of library is now 300 Sq. metre in the permanent campus. NIELIT Agartala Centre has successfully implemented e-Granthalaya, a library automation software developed by NIC, Department of Electronics & Information Technology, Govt.of India.

Library Collection is organized through Dewey Decimal classification (DDC) scheme which is internationally known and accepted scheme for library classification. Books are acquired according to the requirement of the student, requisition obtained from the faculty members and other staff on regular basis. There is a library committee for administering, organizing and maintaining the Library and Library services with the approval of Director In-charge.
