About Library

MIMH Library is the central library of Maharashtra Institute of Mental Health, Pune. It was established in 1991. MIMH library has a good collection of 3000+ Books and 19+ qualitative print journals of all Mental Health disciplines. The Library is fully automated using NIC developed e-Granthalaya (4.0) software. All circulation process is done by barcode technology. The bibliographic information of the collection is made available through web OPAC.

ममाआसं ग्रंथालय हे महाराष्ट्र मानसिक आरोग्य संस्थेचे मध्यवर्ती ग्रंथालय आहे. या ग्रंथालयाची स्थापना १९९१ साली करण्यात आली आहे. ग्रंथालयात मानसिक आरोग्य विषयक उत्कृष्ट दर्जाची ३००० पेक्षा जास्त पुस्तके आणि १९ राष्ट्रीय/आंतरराष्ट्रीय नियतकालिके सबस्क्राइब केलेली आहेत. ग्रंथालय पूर्णपणे संगणीकृत असून एन. आय. सी. ने विकसित केलेल्या इ-ग्रंथालया ४.0 या ग्रंथालय व्यवस्थापन स्वाफ्टवेअर द्वारे ग्रंथालयाचे व्यवस्थापन केले जाते. ग्रंथालयात पुस्तकांची देवघेव बारकोड टेकनॉलॉजि च्या साहाय्याने केली जाते. ग्रंथालयातील सर्व वाचन साहित्याची माहिती वेब ओपॅक वर उपलब्ध करून दिली आहे.

मानसिक आरोग्य क्षेत्रात काम करणाऱ्या विद्यार्थी, शिक्षक व डॉक्टर्स यांना सुधारित व अद्यावत माहिती श्रोत उपलब्ध करून देणे.

पुस्तक देव घेव, इंटरनेट सेवा, झेरॉक्स फॅसिलिटी, संदर्भ सेवा आणि रिडींग रूम फॅसिलिटी.

Library Rules: • Silence must be observed in the Library. Sleeping is prohibited in the library.
• It is not permitted to work in-group and study verbally in the Library.
• Mobile phones and other devices likely to cause disturbance shall always be in silent mode.
• Portable computers may be used after taking necessary permissions from the Library Authority.
• Members are required to carry their library card at all times and must show them at the request of the
Library Staff.
• All personal belongings except purses and notebooks should be deposited at the Property Counter. The
the library cannot be held responsible for lost or stolen items.
• Member cannot bring personal books/photocopies etc inside the Library for consultation.
• Books borrowed by one member must not be passed on to another but must in all cases be returned to the
Library.
• A borrower should not borrow documents in other’s name.
• The Library may recall a book on loan at any time, and the book must then be returned to the Library on or
before the closing time on the date given in the recall notice/message.
• Member must report any mutilation found in books before borrowing, otherwise the last borrower is liable to
pay for damages when the books are returned and/or the Library Authority finds the mutilation.
• Members are responsible for returning materials in good condition and will be assessed for cost of the
damaged materials. The amount of the cost will be set by the Library Authority and treated as an unpaid
fine if not paid when the library resources are returned.
