e-Granthalaya: A Digital Agenda for Automation and Networking of Government Libraries - is a Digital Platform developed and maintained by National Informatics Centre, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India. Under the platform, NIC Provides Library Management Software with Digital Library Module and Cloud Hosting facility to Government Libraries on request basis. The Software is a Cloud Ready Application; and uses PostgreSQL - an Open Source DBMS as back-end solution. बरकतुल्लाह विश्वविद्यालय जिसे पहले भोपाल विश्वविद्यालय के नाम से जाना जाता था, की स्थापना 1970 में मध्य प्रदेश की राजधानी में हुई थी। 1988 में भोपाल के रहने वाले महान स्वतंत्रता सेनानी प्रो. बरकतुल्लाह की जीवन स्मृति में इसका नाम बरकतउल्ला विश्वविद्यालय रखा गया। विश्वविद्यालय को नैक 2015 द्वारा 'बी' ग्रेड दिया गया है। ई-ग्रंथालय का यह क्लस्टर छात्रों, संकायों और शोधकर्ताओं को विभिन्न ई-लाइब्रेरी सेवाएं प्रदान करने के लिए राज्य में बरकतउल्ला विश्वविद्यालय पुस्तकालय और संबद्ध सरकारी कॉलेजों के कम्प्यूटरीकरण के लिए समर्पित है। इस उद्देश्य के लिए, राज्य में बरकतउल्ला विश्वविद्यालय पुस्तकालय और संबद्ध सरकारी कॉलेजों में एनआईसी से ई-ग्रंथालय 4.0 लागू किया गया है जो एनआईसी क्लाउड में होस्ट किया गया है और ऑनलाइन डेटा प्रविष्टि और परिसंचरण के लिए लाइव उपयोग किया जाता है। यह क्लस्टर एमओपीएसी - मोबाइल रिस्पॉन्सिव ओपेक और ई-ग्रंथालय मोबाइल ऐप का उपयोग करके पुस्तकालय सदस्यों को सार्वजनिक डोमेन में ई-कैटलॉग और डिजिटल लाइब्रेरी सेवाओं तक पहुंच प्रदान करता है। Barkatullah University formerly known as Bhopal University was established in 1970 in the capital city of Madhya Pradesh. In 1988 it was rechristened as Barkatullah Vishwavidyalaya, In the living memory of the great freedom fighter Prof. Barkatullah who belonged to Bhopal. The University has been aggregated ‘B’ grade by NAAC 2015. This Cluster of e-Granthalaya is dedicated to computerization of Barkatullah University Library and affiliated Government Colleges in the state in order to provide various e-Library services to the students, faculties and researchers. For this purpose, e-Granthalaya 4.0 from NIC has been implemented in Barkatullah University Library and affiliated Government Colleges in the state which is hosted in NIC Cloud and is utilized LIVE for online data entry and circulation. This cluster provides access of e-Catalog in public domain and Digital Library services to library members using MOPAC - Mobile Responsive OPAC and e-Granthalaya Mobile App.
