About Cluster

e-Granthalaya: A Digital Agenda for Automation and Networking of Government Libraries - is a Digital Platform developed and maintained by National Informatics Centre, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India. Under the platform, NIC Provides Library Management Software with Digital Library Module and Cloud Hosting facility to Government Libraries on request basis. The Software is a Cloud Ready Application; and uses PostgreSQL - an Open Source DBMS as back-end solution. The Cluster of e-Granthalaya 4.0 has been created for Public Libraries under Uttar Pradesh Government with the objective to extend e-Granthalaya Services to all the District Libraries and State Central Library for Automation of In-hose activities and Online member services. This cluster will provide access to Union Catalog as well as other library services hosted in NIC National Cloud. ई-ग्रंथालय 4.0 का यह क्लस्टर सभी जिला पुस्तकालयों के स्वचालन के लिए और ऑनलाइन सदस्य के सेवाओं का विस्तार करने के उद्देश्य से उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार के तहत सार्वजनिक पुस्तकालयों के लिए बनाया गया है। यह क्लस्टर एनआईसी राष्ट्रीय क्लाउड में सभी पुस्तकालयों के सूचि के साथ ही अन्य पुस्तकालय सेवाएं प्रदान करेगा।
