e-Granthalaya: A Digital Agenda for Automation and Networking of Government Libraries - is a Digital Platform developed and maintained by National Informatics Centre, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India. Under the platform, NIC Provides Library Management Software with Digital Library Module and Cloud Hosting facility to Government Libraries on request basis. The Software is a Cloud Ready Application; and uses PostgreSQL - an Open Source DBMS as back-end solution. The Cluster of e-Granthalaya 4.0 has been created with the objective to extend e-Granthalaya Services to all the Libraries under Departments and Ministries of Government of India for Automation of In-house activities and Online member services. This cluster provides access to Digital Librray and the Union Catalog of these libraries as well as other library services hosted in NIC National Cloud. The OPAC will be accessible in public domain and will be used as a single Window Access System for Ministry Libraries. ई-ग्रन्थालय 4.0 का क्लस्टर इन-हाउस गतिविधियों और ऑनलाइन सदस्य सेवाओं के स्वचालन के लिए भारत सरकार के विभागों और मंत्रालयों के अंतर्गत सभी पुस्तकालयों को ई-ग्रन्थालय सेवाएँ प्रदान करने के उद्देश्य से बनाया गया है। यह क्लस्टर डिजिटल लाइब्रेर और इन पुस्तकालयों की यूनियन कैटलॉग के साथ-साथ एनआईसी नेशनल क्लाउड में होस्ट की गई अन्य लाइब्रेरी सेवाओं तक पहुंच प्रदान करता है। ओपीएसी सार्वजनिक डोमेन में सुलभ होगा और मंत्रालय के पुस्तकालयों के लिए सिंगल विंडो एक्सेस सिस्टम के रूप में उपयोग किया जाएगा।
