‘Central Library’ - The main library of the Indian Railways Institute of Transport Management is located in ‘Aadharshila’, the admin. building of the Institute.

'केंद्रीय पुस्तकालय' - भारतीय रेलवे परिवहन प्रबंधन संस्थान का मुख्य पुस्तकालय आधारशिला प्रशासनिक भवन में स्थित है।

Library Rules: 1. Faculty members of the Institute: There is no limit to the number of books issued to faculty members during their tenure in the institute, nor is there a limit on their time. If a member transferred, they must return all books before becoming relieved. Otherwise, penalties will be imposed based on regular member standards. For this purpose, the issuance of the LPC will be issued only after the librarian's certification.
2. Trainee Officers and Trainees: Trainee officers and service trainees can be issued 10 books for 15 days, two CDs/DVDs for 15 days, two cassettes for three days, and one kindle for 15 days and if the course duration is shorter, only for the duration of the course.
3. IRITM Employees: Employees can be issued 10 books for 15 days, two CDs/DVDs for 15 days, two cassettes for three days and one kindle for 15 days.
Late Fees/Fine :- Per book / per day Rs. 2/-( Two rupees)

Timing: (1.) Circulation (Issue/Return) (Monday to Friday)- 09:00 to 18:00, (02.) Self-Study (Monday to Saturday) - 09:00 to 22:00
